Great Time!
Beautiful, well situated condo right on the beach with secure parking. Spacious and clean. Managed by responsive and attentive hosts.
Great Spot!
Great location if you want easy, quick access right out to the beach. Although the unit is not on the beachfront, you can enjoy the ocean views literally just out the front door. The common area beach patio is perfect to sit and enjoy a meal at one of the tables. Plus, it was so easy to bring our morning coffee to enjoy out on the beach. It's also located where you can easily walk to most places in town. Great spot for a casual beach getaway.
Fantastic Stay!
We had a fantastic time at this condo. It was clean, well-maintained and stocked with just about everything you could possibly need. It was warm and cozy (our stay was in December) with direct access to the beach. Check in and check out were a breeze and the host was really responsive.
Nice & Clean!
Nice clean place. Great beach walking nearby. It is not in Santa Barbara, a 15 minute drive away, but it is close to a nice downtown area, with lots of shops, grocery, restaurants, coffee, etc. No beach view from inside the unit, but the building is on the beach.
Couldnt Be Happier
Fantastic place and a terrific stay. Alli was very responsive and there’s loads of fun toys and beach supplies for you to use. Couldn’t have been happier.

Great Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mermaids Grotto. Alli was very accommodating. The Airbnb is quiet, clean and comfortable. It's fully stocked with everything you need including games, beach chairs, umbrellas, washer and dryer, extra pillows, blankets, toiletries and a complete kitchen. The town of Carpinteria is adorable and walkable with friendly people, good restaurants and the beach is just outside the building.
Top Destiation
This is a great place for a family to hang out all week. Great amentities, spacious living, and you have everything at your fingertips. Only steps from the beach, walking distance to great local restaurants, enjoyable and comfortable! Definitely a top destination!
Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay at Stay SB’s place! It was clean, well-kept and had everything we needed for the few days we were lucky enough to be there. We LOVED the location - right on the sand and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the farmer’s market! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
Great Vacation!
My 3 grandkids came out to visit for a week and Mermaids Grotto was the perfect place for parents, kids, granny, and day guests. We cooked most meals there, everything you need to make just about anything is in the kitchen. Beach towels aplenty (don’t waste suitcase space) two wetsuits - large and small, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, are all there. It’s a condo complex of 8 units and people who live there and/or visit know each other and helped create a lovely vibe. A vacation we’ll hold dear forever:)
